It’s hard to say that I enjoyed this thriller, not because it wasn’t a well-written book, but because reading about various forms of assault was heart-breaking! It definitely drew me in, especially when connections started being formed; the ending really threw me for a loop! I also personally liked that it was set in Atlanta and had a lot of medical content.

For the most part I liked the narration, but some of the accents were strange. The descriptions of the crimes were also very graphic, sometimes too graphic in my opinion. Overall, this book was thought-provoking and good for those who want a  deep, psychological read! (This book is #11 in the Will Trent series, but it can be read as a standalone book.)

*I received a copy of this audio book from NetGalley*

Might be a case of just not for me, but I found this a brutal, cruel, and voyeuristic book.

Karin Slaughter never disappoints with her books. This was another one I read in one night because I just had to know the truth. I love a book that keeps me guessing and on my toes and Slaughter is a master at that. I love Will & Sara so much and I hope we see them for many more books to come. I also hope we continue getting glimpses into Faith's life because even with all the murder and mayhem she deserves her happy ending also.
