OK…I don’t want to give anything away to anyone so my review is going to be short and sweet. I love Logan and Tate. They are still one of my favorite book couples ever. Logan is my man…I absolutely love everything about him.

Every time I try to write anything else, it feels spoiler-ish and I don’t want to do that. I wasn’t thrilled with how things played out in this book. If you want to chat with me about that, please PM me.

Am I glad I read it? Yes. Will I read the next one? Yes. Is it my favorite of the series? No. Do I still love Logan and Tate? Yes.

I do hope Priest gets a spin-off book though.

Leaving you with this funny…
Logan (to Cole) started to chuckle. “Yes. I feel like you used to be smarter than this.”

Spoiler The whole plotline about Tate saying no to the proposal was really interesting. Mostly because while Logan needed time because he was hurt he was still planning on talking to Tate afterwards to get an explanation. They never broke up, it was awkward for a bit but they talked. I'm even more glad that there were no second proposal (or at least it seems to be the case at the end of book 5). The fact that it was so simple to just ask if the proposal was still on the table was something I really enjoyed for some reason

Me gasté dos paquetitos de pañuelos en solo un capítulo. Mis ojos quedaron hinchadísimos y apenas podía respirar

So, who would have thought so long ago, when Logan put his briefcase down and sat on that barstool, that we would end up here?! When Logan looked at Tate for the first time and thought, “I want him,” that that moment would change his life forever.

Ahhhh, this journey! Ella Frank has done what few authors could do and that is, kept the romance and story of one singular couple fresh, innovative and engaging to read for five books now. And, her whole audience is eagerly awaiting number six, me included. That’s some impressive writing skills. Also, this is not a standalone book! There are things that happen in Tate, over and above “the awful scene”, that you will NOT understand unless you have read this series from the very first book. The only way to get inside Logan’s head and understand him and his relationship with Tate, or, the only way to understand where Tate is coming from and really get why he does what he does, is to read from the beginning. That being said, a review for this book is on the difficult side because if you are current with the series, then it’s like preaching to the choir. And if you’re not, then I have to recommend you go back and start fresh or from where you left off before continuing.

I really feel like Tease was an overall journey for Logan. That book ended with Logan’s epiphany about his feelings for Tate, and now, this book is about Tate’s journey to reach the same place Logan has already achieved. There is a reason this book is named Tate. The man has a lot of unresolved issues in his life concerning his family and his sexuality, and I applaud Ella Frank for facing those head-on in this book. The beginning starts as a perfect example of how one person in a relationship can have secrets or worries, and the other person doesn’t realize the significance of it. Logan’s entire psyche has been flipped upside down with the realization that he wants to ask Tate to marry him. Up to this point Logan has been quintessentially phobic of admitting to any kind of attachment or strings with regard to Tate. We have all known the strings were there; it just took a while for Logan to know it also. Tate has to come to terms with this “new” Logan Mitchell as well as his new family dynamic, being a successful bar owner, and really settling into who he wants to be going forward. The ties were severed that made him a Morrison, he supposedly knows he will never be a Mitchell, so where does that leave him and his need to truly belong somewhere? It is the existence of such a need that makes Logan want to give Tate everything, to be everything that Tate will ever want or need again that drives his sudden desire to marry the man and make a home for Tate and with Tate.

These men are consumed with each other and a true delight to read about. They are complicated, masculine, and so damn sweet.

I dare you to try. I think you’re my truth. Terrify me. Marry me. William Tate Morrison. William Tate Morrison-Mitchell. William Tate Mitchell-Morrison. William Tate Mitchell.

This book is all about moving forward. Tate and Logan’s HEA is on the horizon, and I cannot wait for the next book to see how they sail off into the sunset together. It’s been a journey, but wow! What a journey. I am also truly looking forward to Priest and Robbie’s story. Ooooooh, the fireworks! Can. Not. Wait. This was a fantastic book and, of course, I recommend it as well as the author. Read Ella Frank, you won’t regret it.

Tate is beyond every conceivable thought I had about this story. It felt like I waited years for the chance to rendezvous with Logan and Tate. The wait was worth it. Tate was an exceptionally moving reading experience unlike any other. I was totally immersed in Logan and Tate and was knocked breathless several times throughout. Every time I read a book I take a little something with me from the story. There were so many little somethings I took from Tate, it was like getting my every wish granted.

Tate and Logan's journey has been a long and arduous one, with many heartbreaking and soul searching moments. Yet their story was so blindingly beautiful, it was achingly painful to read. And by that I mean I was so moved by their story, that my heart was so full it felt like it was going to burst from happiness and fulfillment. But Tate is the most surprising and inspiring story yet. I did not see the spectacular events that occurred in this book. I was knocked breathless. Ella Frank did that to me. Yet again. But this time it was done with stealth, cunning and flawless creativity. I try to convey how books make me feel, but I am not the storyteller here, Ella Frank is. My reviews and thoughts don't really reflect how perfect the Temptation series is to me. Life sucks soometimes, and when the chips are down and there is not a lot of light, only dark, I pick up an Ella Frank book, and am transported to my fantasy world, where I can totally escape, and just bask in the perfectly blissful feeling I get every time I read this author's work. Words cannot express how much that means to me. A beautiful story like Tate, and the way it makes me feel to read it, is worth more than any amount of money in the world.

So, thank you Ella Frank. you have given me something so special, something that I will cherish forever. Tate and Logan have given me endless moments of madness, laughter, tears and many visuals of a lifetime of love, passion and total dedication. My memories are mine to hold dear, and reading Tate and all the other books in the Temptation series has been and incredibly unforgettable experience.

Tate is by far, my favourite story in the series. The brutal honesty totally stripped these characters bare, giving me as a reader, a raw and powerful insight into the bumpy beautiful life of Tate ad Logan. So impressionable, it left me reeling and absolutley begging for more.

Ella Frank, you have far surpassed my wildest dreams and given me something beyond words. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for Logan and Tate.

Love this series! To keep this story fresh and engaging and hot is no easy feat and yet she's done it again! I can't wait for book 5! Each book is a treat and I've enjoyed getting a little more with each one.
