This book deals with heavy topics and I highly recommend checking the content warnings.

That being said I do feel the topics of infertility, mental illness, toxic parent child relationships, death, and grief were dealt with and presented gracefully, yet raw.

Infertility is discussed frequently and in detail with a variety of emotions and projected outcomes in this story.

I really enjoyed this book, and the writing was visceral and raw. Kristen was layered and real.

I wish Josh had had more layers to him, as his POV helped flesh out Kristen more than himself.

A thing I could have gone without was Josh's inner thoughts regarding Kristen as "not like other girls" and "cool and probably dated a college guy in high school".

I wish we could have spent more time in the "after" portion of the couples lives. I am hopeful to get glimpses of it in the sequels.

Kristin suffers from very painful periods and schedules a hysterectomy. As the maid of honour to her best friend, she meets the best man and finds herself falling for someone who breaks all her fast rules.

This was a touching romance that hasn’t been discussed enough. Kristin and other characters seemed so real they jumped off the page. All the issues were so real it made me feel all the things.

I definitely recommend reading this if you like romance novels, because it’s something that many women go through and although this is just one person’s story, it’s very important. 💕

A great read i walked in expecting your usual romcom but its far more than that, its has the perfect amount of fluff, tragedy and reality.

Ok so this a good book but don’t be fooled by the cover we got ourselves some spicy but also lots of crying ahead. This book is not for the faint of heart, I legit sobbed multiple times 😭. Abby Jimenez does such an amazing job of making you fall for all the characters and really tears your heart out at some times 💔 but you also can’t put the book down. Josh and Kristen’s story is amazing with real life ups and downs that make you fall for the characters that much more. Enjoy the book cuties but you’ve been warned 😘
