Once again, Abby Jimenez has written a book that I couldn’t put down. I’m in love with the characters of this book, especially Stuntman Mike, and their lives that are not Hallmark-perfect. As someone who had terrible periods and had a hysterectomy when I was 30, I can feel Kristen’s pain and how hard it is to go through such a thing. But having a partner who loves you unconditionally and can help you get through those insecurities is imperative.

Obsessed with Abby Jimenez and everything she writes. I laughed, I cried. I loved the characters. It all felt real and beautiful. I probably would have given it 5 full stars if I didn’t read Yours Truly right before this and that was an easy 5 stars. This was still so great, but I liked Yours Truly even better so I felt like they needed different ratings, haha. My rating system is random and not well structured. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Kinda wish I would’ve known that Kristen started the book with a different boyfriend, because I might not have picked the book up so quickly, but also Teddy Hamilton could narrate anything and make it 10x better. Def enjoyed the book as a whole!

But also boom had me SOBBING with at 80% so be warned

emotional funny sad
The miscommunication in this one was very frustrating. And there was some “not like other girls” stuff that turned me off. But the writing was good, and the characters were likeable, and there were lots of funny and sweet moments.
