fun, quick read. some topics not addressed well, i. e racial fetishization, sexual assault, etc. Not fully developed characters, but still a fun, light story. Reads like a fanfic in some aspects.

I was hoping for a fast-paced, breezy romance featuring a trope I enjoy (fake dating) with a bonus of neuroatypical representation. (I am neuroatypical myself, but not autistic.) 

I got all that! Unfortunately I also a male lead who is increasingly controlling and violent, and these behaviors presented as romance. I cannot recommend this book, and especially recommend you do not read it if you are a survivor of a controlling or abusive relationship.
