Some people come to this challenge already loving big books and knowing they’re going to read some. Others come to it a bit apprehensive but they want to add big books to their reading diet. Whichever reader you are, this challenge is for you.

First, “big” is whatever it means to you. There are no page limits or word counts. You decide what feels like a big book to you.

There are just four prompts (and a bonus) because reading one big book each quarter of the year is plenty for most people who want time to read other things too!

The prompts are intended to be open-ended and flexible so you can fit the books you want to read into them. Big books take time so they should be books you want to spend time with.
