⚠️ TW: mental health, mentions of anorexia and self harm ⚠️ This novella is so cute but also filled with emotion. It follows Tori, Charlie and Oliver through their experience at Christmas and how they all individually cope with not only their own personal concerns and pressures but also those of everyone else in the Spring family. It follows on from some of the events that happened in the Heartstopper series such as Charlie's anorexia, self harming and overall mental health and how that can be impacted by Christmas. Alice Oseman always writes in such a great way that discusses hard hitting topics, normal teenage concerns and pressures and brings them to the forefront of young adult literature, as well as spanning beyond that age demographic and hitting all ages that may be going through the same things as the characters. And as I've said before I would have loved books like this during my young teenage years. Overall, I highly recommend giving this novella and all of Alice Oseman's books a read.
Graphic: Eating disorder, Mental illness, and Self harm
