⚠️ TW: Child abuse, parental death, alcoholism, serial murders, complex mental health conditions ⚠️ This book follows Ted who on the surface lives an unassuming life in an ordinary house at the end of an ordinary street, but when you look deeper so much of his life is a tangled web of lies and complexities waiting to be unearthed. Wow this read is a whole rollercoaster of emotions from being tense, creeped out, scared and unnerved as well as being connected to the characters emotionally and feeling sorry for them. It is such a complex storyline and hard to review without giving spoilers but trust me if you are in the mental state to be able to read this and like horror/thriller then you need to add this to your spooky season tbr. It is so incredibly written and I am in awe of Catriona Ward for not only this book but the amount of research she did to write this book and to do the characters justice. I don't even know what to say but people need ro read this book, WOW 👏🏼 HIGHLY recommend it!! 👏🏼
