Elena Laurent has nailed it again.
This story was fun, entertaining, and had good banter and chemistry.
Nora and Gabriel are the main characters this time, and after seeing them in the background of the two previous standalones, I was excited!
The childhood friends, fake dating to lovers trope has been executed very well. I was laughing at both Nora and Gabriel, realising that they were in love with each other while simultaneously working through their emotions and worries about potentially ruining a lifelong friendship.
What I appreciate about the stories that the author tells is the manner in which the characters have real-life insecurities and struggles, but the story still manages to be light and uplifting. I finished this in one go, and with a smile on my face!
