Parts of this were so frustrating to read that I briefly considered DNF’ing. I’m glad I stuck with it but my god. No eighteen year old would do half the shit Pip does. Or speak the way she does. 

The “twist” was obvious from the moment the villain was introduced but I will say the ending did still have some surprises. All in all I’m excited to pick up book three.
