Thank you to BookSirens for an ARC of Things I Forgot About (Book 5 in the Heartlanders Series) by Kelsey Humphreys. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I absolutely loved this look at Kat, cousin of the fabulous Canton sisters. I could relate to so much of what makes Kat, Kat. She's badass and a total control freak and keeps her personal life personal. Except when she needs her S cousins and gets the Canton girls on a phone call.

This was a fun look at Kat and Dennis, both of whom we met in earlier books in the series. Straight laced Dennis needs some prompting to "win" the heart of the southern belle and Kat thinks she has what he needs to help him.

They have great chemistry and Lucy, Kat's daughter is an adorable character as well.

Could easily work as a standalone but it fits very well with the series.
