⚠️ TW: suicide, sexual assault and bloody violence/gore ⚠️ This book was the perfect way to kick off October and I loved every second of it!! This book follows the three Hollow sisters, Grey, Iris and Vivi, and when they are around dark and dangerous things seem to lurk at every corner. And ever since they disappeared as children, only to mysteriously turn up a month later with no recollection for what happened, strange and creepy occurrences follow in their wake. However when Grey goes missing again life for the Hollow sisters becomes even more eerie and haunting as they discover the supernatural world that took them as children is beckoning them back. This read is so incredibly captivating and will have you hooked in its spell from the very beginning. It is filled with freaky goings on and thrilling scenes that will give you the chills. The storyline is full of layers upon layers for you to sink your teeth in to from the plot to the characters with multiple elements that will really get under your skin. Honestly it is such a well written mash up of genres between thriller, horror and dark fairy tale and it is just so, so good. Also, it has amazing LGBTQ+ rep 👌🏼 Overall, I highly recommend this read and I need a sequel!
