Dragon Born by Donna Grant

4.0

Henry has been getting some really strong "vibes" that something is stalking Melisse and that it is a druid of some persuasion.  He always trusts his instinct, it served him well as a MI5 agent, so he manages to transport himself to Zora.  Now he just has to find one very stubborn and justifiably angry Melisse.

Melisse is a powerhouse of magic, power and anger.  She was locked away by Con for so long that she has lost many of her memories of her family. She shared one incredible kiss with Henry and then made a curt remark and has been hiding from him and the Dragon Kings since.

Henry and Melisse are flaming hot!  The passion is palpable and even when they don't see eye to eye they still look out for each other. As a dragon queen and Druid they are both powerful in their own way but together they seem to unlock new levels of power neither of them were aware of. It was great to learn more of Melisse's backstory and it was really quite sad, especially why they ended up hiding out from the Dragon Kings.

There are plenty of twists and turns and there would appear to be a showdown in Stonemare's future!
