Verity by Colleen Hoover

What a ride!!
I got done reading this last night and I’m still in shock with how the books started and ended. Loved it!

***no spoilers***
Lowen Ashleigh is a struggling writer who gets an offer to finish a book series by Verity Crawford, a bestselling author. The offer comes from Jeremy Crawford, Verity’s husband as Verity has been injured.

Arriving at the Crawford home to find research for the next books in the series, she instead finds Verity’s autobiography and it’s dark, twisted, almost evil. It’s an emotional rollercoaster reading about harsh truths and wondering how a person could be so corrupt at the core. Finding out about the tragedies that have occurred and forever changed this family.
Soon the situation in the house starts getting worse and Lowen believes she’s truly going mad. Telling Jeremy the truth about the manuscript and his wife seems the only way to end the madness she’s found herself stuck in. And perhaps she can finally have Jeremy to herself.

This book is definitely worth the praise and I would recommend it!!
