The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt

4.0

This is a fantastic book. I often had to put it down because it was so heavy, especially when Theo's mom died. The only real issue is that the author tried to cram a whole new plot in the last 200 pages or so when the story was wrapping up, and it felt like the last part dragged and just felt like it was taking forever. But honestly this book is so real and descriptive, I often forgot I was reading fiction and not a biography. I also enjoy Donna Tartt's writing style. Overall I'd recommend this book.
