What can I say about this series and this book that has not already been said...
I enjoyed the story. It has ascendants in both The Mummy and Agatha Christie. I might have gotten a bit bloody in the complex Mummy/Demon story at times, but I just flew with the flow and it righted itself when necessary. And if It didn't the enjoyment still didn't suffer.
This book was really Christine's book. Griffin played a more supportive role here, but Whyborne underwent some personal growth and the relationship between Christine and the two MCs became more set in stone.
I like the books and the two MCs, but I still don't feel invested in them. So far I enjoy the books, but I don't really feel them. That may come...
