This is a story about depression and it's beautiful and painful. It won't be for everybody, but I'm happy that stories such as this one are being written. What I love about Isekai stories is when we slowly get into the reasons why the main character felt the need to escape their own world. I appreciated that we get to see how the characters help the fmc realise what is going on and help her realise she isn't done yet.

For anyone who comes across this post and who's struggling, please know that you're not alone, no matter how hard that voice in your head is trying to convince you otherwise. Depression will have you believing that you're alone, but that's a lie. There are people who are happy that you're here. I'm happy that you're here. If professional help is out of reach for whatever reason, please talk about it with someone that you trust. Even if it's just one person. Because you're not a burden and you don't have to go through this all by yourself 💜
