This is definitely worth the read. For those who have no idea about the Modern History of India, this is a must-read. Although the book does not cover many important events such as Poona Pact and such, it does provide a basic guide line for those who are interested in knowing outline of Modern History.
The book covers many issues which might not have been covered in other historical books of the time such as Education and social conditions of the time. Moreover the language used by Mr. Chandra is very simple and understandable.
