The Blood Tide by Neil Lancaster

5.0

DS Max Craigie is back with a bang!

Now working anti-corruption. With his friend and colleague DC Janie Calder and their boss the larger than life DI Ross Fraser.

And whilst their work is new and wide reaching. They are still feeling the ramifications of taking down notorious gangster Tam Hardie and his network of bent coppers.

When Max gets a call from his friend Hamish, a cop out of Glasgow. Who has just witnessed a jumper fall from the Erksine Bridge. A jumper who claims there is corruption inside NCA Scotland.

Then days later on a visit to Hamish's house, Max finds him dead and is certain the circumstances are suspicious, except all the evidence proves otherwise, and now the details of Hamish's jumper have mysteriously disappeared.

So Max, Janie and Ross set out to get answers. But as they do an old enemy circles, one who is willing to go to any lengths to get the revenge they seek.

And with shocks, surprises, twists and turns. Not to mention great humour and characters, you won't forget. The Blood Tide is another fantastic story in the DS Max Craigie series, and I urge anyone who hasn't read the series to do so! As you really won't regret it.
