Stressed, Unstressed: Classic Poems to Ease the Mind by Sophie Ratcliffe, Paula Byrne, Jonathan Bate, Andrew Schuman
Did not finish book.
I got this book through Edelweiss in exchange for an honest review.
This just.. Didn't do anything for me.
I thought this would be a great way to read some classic poetry and maybe these themes would get me more into those classic poems, because a lot of the time I find older poetry very dry and can't connect to it. Sadly, this is exactly what happened again..
The book is divided into different sections and each section includes a few poems that have a similar theme. Each section also has an introduction, but I mostly just found those too long in comparison to the few poems in each section that came after.
All in all, I really wouldn't say this is a bad book, but it's just not for me. Maybe you'll have better luck with it!
