The Blood of Olympus by Rick Riordan
5.0
Okay! This book was completely amazing and I loved every second of it. I can't believe that the Heroes of Olympus series is over with and that the gang is finally all grown up. A couple of things I loved about this book:
-I actually enjoyed the fact that it wasn't written from Percy's perspective or Annabeth. It seemed like the other kids needed a chance to shine and I loved seeing everything from Nico's perspective as he was my favorite character of this entire series.
-The fact that the bond between the female characters grew stronger is what amazed me the most. It was great to see such kick ass female relationships.
-This book didn't hold back. People died. And it wasn't all peaches and cream like you would expect from a children's book.
-I loved that we were introduced to new gods and goddesses. It makes learning about Greek and Roman mythology even more interesting.
-There were so many twist and turns and unexpected obstacles.
So if you guys can't already tell I absolutely loved this book and I'm sad to see it go; however, I think it's time for me to learn the story of other characters probably starting with the kids from the Kane Chronicles! Rick Riordan has definitely given me stuff to look forward to after finishing this series.
