Selena and Calvin's baby is due any day and she is still struggling to find someone to mind the store whilst she's on maternity leave.  Her friends are going to have busy lives themselves soon and she can't rely on their help forever.

But she gets an unexpected visitor in the shape of her long lost half-sister.  They have more than a father in common it would seem - Chloe also has some magical abilities and she's looking for Selena to help mentor her! But before that can happen there is the small matter of a dead body in  Chloe's temporary home - the body of her ex-boyfriend!

All the evidence is pointing to Chloe and Selena may not know her sister but she knows auras and Chloe's is innocent.

I've been dreading this book, it's out last outing with Selena and co and I do hope we get to see more of them in some form or other.  They are just too much fun to leave behind.  I loved they way the new relationship between Selena and Chloe unfurled - nothing was rushed and they weren't besties immediately.  There are plenty of twists and turns in the solving of Jack's murder and I was completely happy with the big reveal.

There are many happy endings for the inhabitants of Globe and I'm happy that Selena seems to have a new destiny in front of her!
