Animal Farm by George Orwell

5.0

I don't think much needs to be said about this book that hasn't already been said-- but Animal Farm had long been one of my 'adulthood blind spots,' where somehow I had gotten to this point having never read it but knew I had to rectify that.

After picking up a nice hardcover with both Orwell's Animal Farm and 1984 (another of my blind spots) on it, I quickly found what everyone else did. Orwell's brilliant work is as relevant today (or sadly, perhaps more relevant today) than ever before. After finishing the first half of this two-fer, eager to now jump in and keep going with 1984!
