The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab
Did not finish book. Stopped at 6%.
dnf @ chapter 8
i know, i just KNOW this book won't have any plot, and i couldn't care less about Schwab's characters (although i can also feel her writing here is better than in A Darker Shade of Magic). i relate to melancholy, but i don't wanna read a whole book of it. i want a story about a girl who makes a deal with the devil and falls in love with him, or some intense shit like that, but i bet i won't get it, and instead there will just be a forgettable sad woman forced to listen to whispers from the ""darkness"" while traveling through europe then a bittersweet moral of the story in the last 20%.
