I don't think that Holly Monroe can write anything that I will not like.
While this is incredibly different from her high fantasy Shadow Weaver trilogy, this story is just as enthralling.

This book had me choked up multiple times while reading. It tackles the reality of coming into your own person after growing up in a culture that puts a heavy emphasis on purity, perfection, and submissive behaviour, even when it could lead to your own detriment.

Nora is an incredible sweetheart and shows much perseverance through her circumstances. The pack, oh my gosh, the pack. The men are the perfect partners for Nora and each other. Everything about their interactions shows love and determination to their family (pack). I feel that I got to know every single person within the pack, who they are, their likes and dislikes.
I appreciated the representation of ptsd due to childhood abuse and that the author chose to show that finding love will not fix it, but that the right partner can be a great support in finding healing and breaking toxic patterns.

I'm incredibly happy that Holly Monroe wrote this story, and she is now officially an auto-buy author for me.
