⚠️ TW: Sexual assault, rape, bloody violence, murder ⚠️ This horror novella follows Harley and Aiden who aren't quite your average couple. They have a shared dark sense of humour and love to petrify each other with pranks. And with Aiden reining supreme in their ever more terrifying prank war Harley knows she needs to step up her game so for Aiden's birthday she does just that but everything is fun and games until things turn dark and deadly. This novella is so fast paced and gripping that I flew threw it in about a one hour sitting! It will have you giggling at the dark sense of humour, creeped out so much and your heart racing over fears you never even knew you had. In my opinion I find novellas and short stories really hard to pull off well but Jeremy Ray definitely cracked it with this one and this won't be the last of his work that I read. This was the perfect way to get into the spooky season mood with a good short horror and I highly recommend giving it a read, but make sure to read the TW's at the beginning because it is very graphic and intense in parts.
