I received an eARC from the publisher via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
After Orion is turned into a mindless soldier, courtesy of his mother, Rosalind is an utter mess. She will do anything to get Orion back. Unfortunately, her identity as Lady Fortune has been exposed and the world knows Rosalind Lang, former scarlet gang member, is alive. In order to get Orion back and draw him out, Rosalind proposes a Lady Fortune national tour.
I have very mixed feelings about this book. The politics are very confusing and the beginning 25% was so so slow. It dragged and dragged.
Once the action picked up I was hooked, but unfortunately a lot of this book felt predictable. The character relationships are what saved this book for me.
