A Rumor of Real Irish Tea by Kate Stradling
5.0
AAAAAHHHHHHHHH
Yes, I loved it. It was absolutely brilliant.
My investment in all of the characters tripled during this book, the scenes were a lot more gripping than before (my concern and fear and absolute ecstasy, oh my god), and just ahhhh it was so good!
Definitely will be reading the next book because I refuse to accept this ending as the final ending. I must see what happens next so there I shall be going.
Bonus, I learned so many new words from this. I am an ardent collector of new and fancy words, and might I say that I was quite delighted to find either entirely new words or different uses for words I already knew.
It’s worth it, I can almost guarantee you.
Content warnings: There wasn’t any romance, and no swearing either, but there are scenes where some characters get shot at. One scene in particular where it was a real gun instead of a tranq would potentially be distressing, so take care.
