Radically Content: Being Satisfied in an Endlessly Dissatisfied World by Jamie Varon

2.5

This non-fiction book is about “being satisfied in an endlessly dissatisfied world,” as the subtitle says. It is based on the author’s experience and knowledge she’s gained from making significant changes in various aspects of her life.

I have followed Jamie Varon on Instagram for several years now and loved the content she posted, so I was very excited when this book was announced and I preordered it right away! Well, I am sad to say that I am somewhat disappointed in this book. I’m not sure if I’m past the point of needing to hear this type of message in my life or what, but this book felt extremely repetitive. I think she could’ve got the same message across in a really good essay. I did buy her debut fiction, so I’m really hoping I enjoy that one.
