This book was good. It is not this authors best work by any means, but it was enjoyable. If you are looking to read the others in this series, I would highly recommend reading them in order starting with this one. The characters were likable enough, but they don't stand out to me as much as others by this author. However, the emotional component of Abby Jimenez books was still delivered!
