The Atlas of Us by Kristin Dwyer
medium-paced
5.0
Pretty confident this will be one of my Top 10 Reads of 2024 - I simply loved it from page one!
Grappling with the death of her father, and determined to finish what he could not, Atlas embarks on a month long hike through California's Western Sierras. Given a blank slate of an identity upon arrival, Atlas - now Maps - will work alongside Sugar, Junior, Books, and King to rehabilitate the trails they travel.
A journey in multiple ways, this is a lovely tale of grief, friendship, connection, and the struggle to find yourself again when life is no longer what it once was.
