My summary: Prythian is busy rebuilding after the war with Hybern. Told from multiple points of view, this book falls between A Court of Wings and Ruin and A Court of Silver Flames.
My thoughts: This book is much shorter and very different from the preceding ACOTAR books. Although this book is not particularly well-received in the series compared to the others, I can appreciate the change of pace to slow down and provide some closure and healing after Amarantha’s terrorizing reign and the following war with Hybern. It is told from different character’s points of view, which sets up the remainder of the ACOTAR series to shift away from being Feyre-centered and onto different characters. This audiobook was narrated by Amanda Leigh Cobb, who also did A Court of Wings and Ruin, and I enjoy her more than the narrator of the first two ACOTAR books.
