I’m highly entertained by this series as mostly legitimate dispatcher Tony once again, gets himself embroiled in all sorts of shady goings-on that he wants no part of.
This time, fellow dispatcher and quasi friend Mason asks for Tony’s help, and Tony soon finds himself a person of interest, not only with the cops and the FBI, but with several morally ambiguous billionaires who have too much money at stake to let his association with Mason slide by.
Though the intricate plot details centering around cryptocurrency and money laundering often went way over my head, what I like most about this series are the shades of gray that permeate this world and Tony’s resourcefulness in finding his way out of the muddy waters on his own terms that allow him to sleep at night.
I’ll forever come back to this series should Scalzi continue to bring us more misadventures!
