Took up this book to pass the time while on vacation and I couldn't have asked for a better read. Though a middle grade book with a much younger target audience, it's something everyone regardless of age can enjoy. Our narrator, The One and Only Ivan, may be a silent one to the rest of the world, but reading his thoughts and accompanying him throughout this endeavor, we uncover truths behind the still life that they all live.
