The Intern by Marni Mann

reflective medium-paced

4.5

Having recently fallen in love with The Bachelor, I just had to read more from the Daltons starting with Camden's twin sister Hannah and her boss the gorgeous yet irascible Declan.

Whom she first meets when he is invited back to his Law School by his old professor to advise a group of aspiring lawyers on a mock trial. And Hannah immediately impresses. Not just with her skills but as a gorgeous young woman and the pair soon spark. So much so they end up having sex in an alley outside a bar.

But soon things go wrong and Hannah makes an assumption based on evidence, not fact. One that leads her to hope she never lays eyes on Declan again.

However, when Hannah arrives at her Aunt and Uncles law firm ready to start her internship. She finds Declan is her mentor. Something neither of them are happy about. Especially Declan, who can't forget the taste, smell or feel of Hannah and is annoyed when she claims she can't remember their last encounter, and that her last name is Dalton and she's related to his best friend.

But the pair are soon forced to work together and the chemistry ignites and soon the pair are having a repeat performance. And Declan is starting to wonder if Hannah is worth giving up his best friend and especially the position he has fought so hard for.

And with off the charts chemistry, emotional moments and plenty of sexy ones too. The Intern was a fabulous read and one I found hard to put down, which is why I would happily recommend it to others.
