This book was so endearing. I could definitely tell that Stella was written from the perspective of someone with experiential wisdom, which added depth and authenticity to her character. I'm a sucker for a strong female lead - I loved that Stella is a self-sustaining, intelligent, and painstakingly honest.
I'm not a huge romance reader, but this is by far the best romance novel I've read this year, and possibly ever.
I want to extend my gratitude to Helen Hoang for humanizing autistic and neurodivergent folks who are just as capable and deserving of loving and respectful relationships as neurotypical people, even though their experiences may look different. Love is for everyone.
