Heartstopper Volume 3 by Alice Oseman
5.0
TW: Homophia, discussions of self harm and eating disorders.
This book follows Nick and Charlie as they develop their relationship further and come to terms with coming out to more people and the emotions, fears and reactions that come with it. Alice Oseman writes about all of this and some very tough topics such as self harm and eating disorders incredibly well and helps to bring light to these vital topics that are big parts of life and can often begin in teenage years and due to this I love that teenagers of this generation will have this representation as they potentially go through these issues too. I absolutely love all of the characters but in this book I loved getting to know the teachers more as well as more of Charlie's friends. I'm so excited to get my hands on Vol.4 to see what the future holds for Nick and Charlie ❤
