The second part of this duology had me on an emotional rollercoaster. Estela and Teo go through a lot, and I loved seeing them grow as individuals and as a couple. 

Estela is as headstrong as ever, which gets her in and out of hard situations. I enjoyed learning more about the history of the Enduares and Teo's inner turmoil concerning his fathers reign and subsequent consequences. 

This story signals the end of Estela's and Teo's story, but I wasn't sad. Because throughout, the stage is being set for the stories of Van and Arlet and several other couples. I'm sure we'll be seeing Estela and Teo in the background still and learning more about this wonderful world as the stories of the other characters unfold.
 And I'm very excited about that!
