Good that the 'baddie' is the main character for a change, France's most notorious Gentleman Thief - Arsene Lupin, sends a letter asking the snobby rich to hand over the goods, then when they don't he sends another telling them what he is going to steal and when, then still manages to do it. Wonderful romp, look forward to reading more Lupin adventures.
