Ezra wasn't expecting to be a hero.  He just wanted to look at a house but found himself saving a woman from being mown down.  The bigger shock was finding out it was Magnolia - his first love and the girl who broke his heart.

When they finally get the chance to air some grievances they find out that someone told a powerful lie years ago, which led to Magnolia having to be a single mother and Ezra being denied the chance to be a proper father!  But now that he's aware of his son, Ezra is determined to be a great father. 
 He understands all that he's missed and would settle for being his son's friend if he can't accept him as his dad.  But first there is the small matter of saving Magnolia from the threat that's hunting her!

Poor Magnolia and Ezra.  They have missed out on so much time together but I loved the way they bonded together after finding out the truth.  Ezra wants to be ack in her life but Magnolia understandably is hesitant.  

Second chance romance, single parent and secret child done so well!  I love the way Ezra was all in where his son was concerned, there was no denying paternity, DNA tests, etc for him!  The way his RHS family just rallied around his new found family was everything I hope for where there is a strong found family element!

PS I would never tire of slapping Magnolia's dad!!!
