Stone and Nola meet organically at a bar but when he realises she's the sister of his colleague, he backs off and leaves her confused.

Nola felt and instant attraction to the silver haired hottie and the kiss they shared curled her toes but he blew her off, so his loss! But when she witnesses a murder she calls her brother but due to a medical emergency with his partner, Stone sends himself in his place.  Now he has to get Nola to safety, whilst trying to keep her at arms length!
 
Nola was a brilliant FMC.  She may have been out of her element but she was brave, confident, level headed and didn't moan once!  Stone is perfect as the older, protector.  He's been burned in love and he has some walls built up - walls that Nola is just going to bulldoze through!
 
This is short, action packed, steamy and insta-love to the nth degree!  It takes place over 3 days and I loved the way that once they got out of their own way these two just went for their HEA!
