Wayward Bond by Kate Rudolph
4.0
Astrid thought her problems where over when the outside world learned of her little colony of survivors. She's almost healed but her people are still on the planet - what on earth is the delay. When she is beset with "accidents" Zyrus appoints himself her protector. But why does he feel familiar when he just looks at her like she's a stranger?
Oh Zyrus! That poor alien found his Denya and lost her in the same breath. A series of calamities have kept them separated and led to him becoming one of the Soulless. Now that very stoic, logical façade is about to shatter and all those feelings are going to hit him!
There were enough twists to keep me hooked but not get bogged down in.
I love this series. The stories are shorter so you can fit them into a long lunch or an hour or two at night. The romance is sweet, smexy and the MC's generally don't suffer that 3rd act break-up. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next with the newest outcast!
