Witchy Coffee by Erin Ritch
Did not finish book. Stopped at 36%.
I was provided an eARC from the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review: All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I tried so hard to get into this I really did. It had such an intriguing premise, but I got 36% in and nothing had really happened. So far Florence had came home to Windia, found out another shop (the one that just fired her!) was trying to move into town, and the town was obsessed with the new beans at the Yurt (Florence’s family’s coffee shop).
I found myself skimming to get to a more interesting part, but it never came. The beginning was full of information dumps about Florence’s family and the town. I also was expecting this to be more of a romance and so far there was none. This just isn’t for me.
Check it out if you’re interested in someone trying to save their family business, the town getting addicted to some new coffee beans, and magic! If you’re looking for a romance. Skip this book altogether.
