Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros

5.0

Speechless doesn’t cover it. 🐉

I knew after I caught the Basgiath bug this summer that Iron Flame by @rebeccayarros was going to be my most anticipated read of the fall.

I also knew I’d lose sleep when it came out because I wouldn’t be able to stop reading. In fact, in addition to pre-ordering the special edition, I also downloaded a digital copy for my kindle so I wouldn’t disturb the husband whilst reading way past my bedtime.

I didn’t realize that I would be emotionally wrecked after finishing it and left with a longing for the rest of the series so deep that I’m considering heading to Colorado to camp out on Yarros’s lawn, offer to babysit her kids, do her laundry or whatever the fuck else she needs in order to get the rest of the books in my needy greedy little hands.

That cliffhanger folks…gods be damned, just stay in your saddle and hold on.

Rebecca Yarros - please take all the stars ✨ in the sky, on @goodreads, @the.storygraph and on my varsity letter jacket and feel free to take me up on my Colorado sojourn offer…I’m ready to find out what happens next.

I’m gonna go take a cold shower now and contemplate learning how to throw daggers. I’m gonna need to do something until the next book comes out…
