Izzy accidentally runs into a man at Starbucks after taking someone else's drink and spills it all over him. Sparks fly between the two. Unfortunately, the man turns out to be her boss.
The concept of the book was cute and I liked that they were friends before getting together. But there were so many parts that had me cringing, especially the way that they spoke to each other and the fact that she called him Mr. Chest. It was supposed to be a cute, but it really wasn't.
I didn't like the characters at all. They were underdeveloped and bland. Izzy is "not like other girls" and is quirky, but in my opinion she is very immature. I found the characters lacked chemistry.
The miscommunication at the end was annoying, she didn't even give him a chance to explain. Didn't give him the benefit of the doubt at all.
Tropes: employee/boss, friends to lovers
