A sweet, cosy fantasy with a hint of romance and a mystery to solve! There tension is low stakes, high chemistry and there are plenty of magical hijinks, including some pesky magic wielders who keep tampering with the vampire thirst tonic - #BlueHair
The characters are empathetic and an eclectic mix of human, vampire and other paranormal creatures. The banter between Fiella and Kizzie is heart-warming and very relatable. The sparks between Fiella and Redd are fantastic and all the opposites attract, grumpy sunshine tension is fab.
I'm incredibly happy I ventured into this world. I really hope there will be a book 2 and this time around Kizzie will get a HEA.
