Heartstopper Volume 2 by Alice Oseman
5.0
TW: homophobic behaviour and slurs.
This book was just as cute and adorable as the first as we see Charlie and Nick's relationship develop further. It gives off all the same emotions as the first one as you go through experiencing the nostalgia of teenage romances. Honestly I'm just in love with these books, from the characters, to the representation, to the issues they discuss and the gorgeous art throughout! In particular in this one I felt it was so important and really well done how Alice Oseman wrote about the terrifying aspect of coming out to close family and friends as we as living a somewhat double life between those that do know and those that don't. Overall, I cannot recommend these books highly enough so far and I imagine I'll love Vol.3 just as much as the last two!
