For a month or two now I was in a reading slump, the kind where you start books and then dnf them left and right. I picked this book on a whirlwind, went into it with closed eyes and I think it was worth it. For me this book was not about the love story of MMC and FMC, for me it was the way the FMC processed her grief of losing a best friend of a grandmother. Grandparents play a very vital role in every child's life, mine did in my life too. Losing them is the biggest loss I've ever faced in my 22 years of life. I lost my grandmother recently, the only woman who defined who grandparents are or who they should be, she set the bar so high that my other grandparents can never reach it. I'm writing about this here because I want everyone to know that this book was not only about a guy meeting a girl and then falling in love, this book was something I never knew I needed so much. I've choked up so many times while reading it, it's like I could feel what FMC is feeling, one day they're there, alive and breathing and the next they're just gone, not there anymore. This book has made me realise so many things. I liked this book. I loved how the story of FMC and MMC was brought out in this book. I might fall into a slump again after completing this but it would be worth it.
