St. James goes from strength to strength in this series! I adored books one and two, but this one was my favourite! Like the other books in the series, this hockey-based sports romance strikes a good balance between humour and emotional depth, whilst also being breathtakingly spicy. MMC Camden—the womanising bad boy of the Lakes Hockey team—gets a lot more than he bargained for in FMC Jordan, a total boss babe who is recovering from trauma and entering into her villain era. I loved seeing both her and MMC Camden grow both as individuals and in their “situationship”: they’re both high on the list of favourite characters for 2024.
