This was a good contemporary romance, it’s a rivals to lovers romance, with a road trip, one bed, secrets and a secret relationship.

I really enjoyed this book up until the 3rd act breakup - now I know you need one for the drama with the story but I don’t love them.

I liked the characters - I didn’t like all the secrets but it did add to the story with the secret game. I loved the road trip and following her grandmothers first love story it was sweet.

i liked the concept of following dream and i think the author really captured grief and all that goes with it.

Overall was a good book, and I would read more from this author.
